Qaqortoq
|
Qaqortoq (Julianehåb) is the largest village in South Greenland with 3.500 inhabitants. The village was founded in 1775 and, as the only town in Greenland, has a fountain in the middle of the village, originating from the colonial period.
The village, which is one of the most beautiful in Greenland, is located towards the mountains and with a great view over the harbour and the cap ice.
